HABIT 1: BE PROACTIVE

Proactivity can be replaced with Responsibility.It means as a human being we are responsibe for our actions and for our own lives and when we look at the word Responsibility- the ability to take initiative or to choose our response.
Proactive people really understand their responsibility.They do not blame their surroundings but they make desicions and choices based on their values rather than on their feelings.

A proactive individual can perceive, research, evaluate, and act upon a problem in a manner that is responsible to both himself and to the society. The development of proactive students requires changes in teacher training strategies. Teachers must behave as "directors" and not "dictators" of student learning.
A proactive student during lecture will come prepared in class and if he is not understanding any point he ask his teacher immediatly rather than waiting for any other student to ask that point to their teacher.
If any person have any problem he must visit the regrding person or department to get him out of that problem instead of blaming other factors.
Reactivity is opposite to the proactivity.Reactive person will feel good if the weather is good.It means reactive people's desicions are often affected by physical environment.
Proactive person always make commitments and try to keep promises or he can set a goal and work to acheive his destination.He will not work only on the orders of his boos but he will work and reseach more to resolve his problems and also find different ways to bring change in his life or envionment positivly.For doing all this he will understand his responsibility because responsibility is the essential tool or habit to become effective.

What I have learnt?
Marketing as a subject is a new thing for me But I am trying to get all knowledge and skills sir has taught us.
So far I have learnt one habbit of successful people which is PROACTIVITY.It means that we should not blame other but we should take and understand our responsibilities within society.We should also take some productive actions to solve out our problems.
From our text book we have studied different concepts like:

• Production Concept
• Selling Concept
• Product Concept
• Marketing Concept etc

We have also got the understanding of marketing, markets, Customer, consumer,needs, demands, wants of people and companies etc.

I have a question here:

How the concept of Marketing came out and as a marketing manager a person should must have command on

1. Strong decision making
2. Proactiveness
3. Strong communication ability
